The end one of a row set a 0.25 mile stroll from the village shop and pub it sits just 8 miles from the coast and 6 miles from the charming Georgian village of Burnham Market’s interesting small shops galleries bistros and renowned restaurant serving locally caught fish. Visitors will find an excellent weekly market and regular race meetings at Fakenham (1.5 miles) and nearby Pensthorpe Park is the setting for BBC’s Springwatch. Quiet country lanes are great for relaxed walking and cycling and the coast’s salt marshes and long stretches of unspoilt beach are well known to bird watching enthusiasts. Seal watching boat trips the Queen’s estate at Sandringham Blakeney and Brancaster harbours and seaside attractions at Cromer and Hunstanton are all easily accessible. |
