4-star cottage beautifully converted from farm building. Light and airy, generously equipped, comfortable accommodation for two. Extra beds available. Heating throughout plus log fire. Level access to all rooms. South-facing conservatory. Eat breakfast whilst gazing across secluded garden, pasture and the Tweed Valley to the Cheviot hills or watching wildlife at the pond and along the river. Wander through our pasture. Later, dose in a reclining chair on your patio.
At the heart of the Scottish Borders within 40 minutes' drive of Edinburgh, east coast fishing villages, superb coastal scenery, Borders' towns, Cheviot and Ettrick Hills. Ideal for visiting wealth of abbeys, gardens and stately homes (Floors Castle and Mellerstain nearby). Just 5km from Kelso with its splendid square, abbey ruins, individual shops and wide selection of places to eat.
