Set above the small hamlet of Wiseman's Bridge, it offers a quiet, comfortable and convenient base with easy access to the superb landscapes, ancient castles and family attractions of south Pembrokeshire. The beach and family-friendly pub are just below, down a steep access road, while the villages of Saundersfoot and Amroth are each a mile's walk along the beach or coast path.
The firm, sandy beach is open to dogs throughout the year and was used in 1943 to practise for the D-Day landings. The charming harbour town of Tenby is five miles distant, while the rugged north of the county is easily accessible.
The house, a 1930s villa, has been in the same family's hands for 70 years and retains many attractive features typical of the era in which it was built. The large living room and spacious kitchen, with walk-in larder and dining room extension, share the same lovely view. There is one double bedroom with wash basin and 3 twin-bedded rooms, one with sea view and one with a cot. The bathroom, with adjacent WC, has a shower over the bath, while an additional outside cloakroom offers a W.C. and wash basin.
For winter-time, the property benefits from oil-fired central heating and an open coal fire. A tiled verandah with delightful views and wood-panelled living room add to the charm of the house to which many visitors return year after year.
