| Description of the cottage
|
A large Georgian town house situated in quiet seclusion within the heart of Llandeilo, a bustling market town in the River Towy valley nestling in the foothills of the Brecon Beacons. The house itself is unique and has considerable character throughout. The house overlooks the local church and the site of the original abbey is said to have been located in the garden.
Within easy walking distance of the town which is famous for its antique shops, craft shops, art galleries and tea rooms and a selection of friendly pubs to suit all tastes. Llandeilo’s narrow streets make this an attractive old town.
Nearby there are numerous attractions such as Roman Gold Mines, Dinefwr Castle and Pembrey Country Park for the children. The picturesque beaches of Cardigan, Pembrokeshire and the Gower are a short drive away. The surrounding area is known as the garden of Wales, having The National Botanical Gardens of Wales and Aberglasny historic house and garden on the door step.
