| Description of the cottage
|
Nestling in the heart of the Peak National Park in the pretty village of Hartington the gateway to the famous dales of the Dove and Wolfscote dale . A peaceful positon set away from the centre of the village but still close enough to local amenities of the shops and pubs . The Red Lion pub used to be the olde worlde village pub it still retains some of it original features with the Red lion sitting proud on the old range that is situated in the dinning area . There is a small cobbled area at the entrance to the cottage leading into the dinning area as mentioned this has an old cast fire place( it is not in use) providing a focal point .This lovely oak beamed room leads to the kitchen with all modern conveniences, dish washer ,washer ,freezer to name a few . f There is a lovely secluded patio area with lawn and garden beyond .All private. The is a seperate lounge on the ground floor boasts oak beams and oak flooring the dinning area has a beautiful flag stoned floor with occasional rugs for comfort. The loungre has an ornimental fireplace and a sofa for comfort to stretch out on.The oak stair case leads to 2 double bedrooms and one twin bedded room . There is an en-suite with the master bedroom and an additional bathroom with spa bath and shower. Wake to views of the church and surrounding fields Furnishings and fabrics have been carefully co-ordinated througout this delightful property . The bedrooms and lounge look out towards the open field and village church . Walking is from the doorstep into the beautiful Peak district or into the village with its duck pond several pubs ,country hotel ,cheese shop.A lovely central position ideal to explore the many attractions this area has to offer Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall are a short drive away. Sun catches thr rear of the cottage later in the daty and wakes at the front.
