| Located on a quiet country lane in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty that belies its proximity to the beautiful and historic town of Newport the Cowshed is a holiday home with a view. Adjoining a 17th Century farmhouse the barn was added around 200 years later and has been converted in a style that is in keeping with its surroundings. Overlooking a large pond and boasting many original features yet comfortable enough to call home visitors can enjoy beautiful views from the comfort of the sitting room. They also have use of the owner’s garden where they might spy a handful of chickens or a small herd of Berkshire pedigree pigs located nearby. The Cowshed is a real gem in the heart of the Island close to the major town of Newport and the perfect place from which to explore the many attractions of the Isle of Wight. It’s large living accommodation makes it ideal for both families and couples alike. |
