Approached by five sandstone steps this cottage offers light and airy accommodation on one level for 4 people.
The cottage faces across the Eden to the North Pennine fells, it has a comfortable living area with dining facilities for four, which leads to a kitchenette. The entrance hall with conservatory chairs benefits from facing south and is a popular sunny seating area.
There are two bedrooms, one double and one twin with the latter having the advantage of an ensuite bathroom with power shower. There is a second bathroom having a bath with shower over. A very popular cottage with couples or a couple requiring space, also as family accommodation.
This cottage is part of a group of 5 charming FOUR STAR sandstone cottages, each with it's own character, all situated on the edge of a quiet, picturesque Cumbrian village with renowned Pub serving excellent food. Surrounded by rolling farmland, and lovely views, Wetheral Cottages is the perfect holiday destination for a memorable visit to Cumbria, from where you can easily visit the lakes and mountains of the Lake District, the Pennines or the many interesting villages and historic sites of the Eden Valley. A short journey north takes you to Hadrian's Wall and Southern Scotland. Walking, Cycling, Golf, Fishing and Water Sports are available nearby. The cottages range in size from that sleeping up to 3, to one capable of sleeping a family of 6. The cottages and gardens are maintained by the resident owners and our prices are fully inclusive of all linen, towels, heat and light, as well as free Wifi.
