Hill End Cottage is a stone-built, 18th Century cottage set on the south-facing slopes of the Mendip Hills, looking over the City of Wells towards Glastonbury Tor.
West Horrington is a mixture of old and new houses surrounded by farmland, and the road into the village ends at a wooden gate just two houses up from Hill End. So if you're looking for a friendly, peaceful, enviroment you'll find it here.
And if you want some exercise, walk just 20 yards from your front door and you're on a walkway with a stream running along the bottom (Biddlecombe). Follow the footpath alongside and it will lead you to the Bishop's Palace in Wells.
