| Overlooking the Dove Valley amongst hills and dales with miles of rolling countryside and picture postcard views. Cruck cottage a "hideaway" 'with no neighbour's only sheep' In walled grounds full of old charm with 15th C beamed interior. Swallows cottage part of the 1649 farmstead has lovely country style with enclosed courtyard (sleeps 6). Hillcrest, traditional Derbyshire cottage, on the edge of Hartington village, with garden. Cottages well equipped, some with spa bathrooms, log fire. All in the most picturesque area of the Peak District with paths to the river, farm trail, close to village, cycling trail, country houses Chatsworth and market towns (see website) |
