This is a splendid walking and cycling area – the lovely Manifold Trail leads from the village through Wetton Mill (N.T.) towards Hartington. Dovedale Blackbrook Park Zoo Alton Towers and Splash Landings are all under 6 miles whilst Chatsworth and Sudbury Hall and the Museum of Childhood (N.T.) are about 20 miles.
