Unusual stone built semi-detached cottage, originally a watermill, only five miles from Hexham, only minutes from Hadrian's Wall. Stunning views from the large upstairs lounge over the magnificent Northumbrian countryside, a haven for wildlife. The local river is home to otters and herons and you are quite likely to see badgers and foxes during a late night stroll. Fishing permits are available from nearby hotel. A local tearoom, available 7 days a week is close by. The nearest village Humshaugh which is a mile away comprises of a pub and local shop. Anyone who enjoys walking holidays will enjoy their stay
