With a large balcony for enjoying the breathtaking views (pictured) a splendid garden and a games room it also makes an ideal venue for family gatherings and reunions. Just 2 miles away lies the historic town of Berwick-upon-Tweed where visitors will find an excellent selection of places to eat and good shopping along with beautifully preserved Elizabethan ramparts garrison and theatre. Berwick is also the town that inspired some of the artist L.S. Lowry’s finest work and visitors can follow a fascinating Lowry Trail around the locality. Venturing a little further afield Holy Island is only 12 miles distant whilst magnificent Bamburgh Castle is 15 miles away and a 30 mile drive leads to Alnwick’s impressive castle and world renowned gardens. The exciting cities of Edinburgh and Newcastle are both a 45 minute train journey from Berwick. Horse riding fishing an indoor swimming pool and golf are all available nearby.
