Barn View Cottages are situated adjacent to the Old Farmhouse House Llanidloes. They are self -contained character cottages tastefully converted from a stone and timber clad barn.
The cottages have an idyllic hillside position overlooking the magnificent views through the Severn Valley. This area of Powys is one of beauty. The cottages are surrounded by places of interest such as the Hafren Forest, Plynlimon Mountain, Clywedog Dam, Elan Valley, Lake Vyrnwy and Aberystwyth. Hafren Forest is about four miles away, and has the Source of the Severn and Wye Valley walks, as well as Glandwr's Way, so there's lots for walkers, cyclists and anglers to do. In addition the area is good for birdwatchers, especially as it's Red Kite country.
Lake Clywedog which is only 4 miles away and there is a well stocked coarse fishing lake about 10 minutes drive
The nearest pub is about 2.5 miles away in the town of Llanidloes
