Wayside is a renovated cottage bungalow in the centre of Horsington, just 300 yards walk to the Elder Tree Public House. The cottage is situated down a quiet lane just off the main road (B1190), set in its own mature open plan gardens. It overlooks the grounds of the church and has ample parking.
Wayside is an ideal central point to explore the county. A stone in the churchyard at Waddingworth, 2 miles from Horsington, had a hole in which was reputedly the exact centre of the old county of Lincolnshire. Less than twenty miles away is the Cathedral City of Lincoln with its historic buildings and castle. The seaside resorts of Mablethorpe and Skegness are also close. The Lincolnshire Wolds are just 4 miles away from the cottage and within easy access, to the south, are the Fens.
Also close is the inland resort of Woodhall Spa with its peaceful woodlands full of rhododendrons and Britain's only back projection cinema, and the championship golf course.
