Description of the cottage

No3 Randle How is an 18th Century Cottage situated in Eskdale Green in the heart of the Esk valley.

Eskdale is a beautiful unspoilt valley on the western side of the Lake District National Park. The river Esk runs down the valley, starting among the highest mountains in England and ending in Ravenglass on the coast. At the top of the valley are Hard Knot Roman Fort and the road over to Ambleside. Train and river run down to the small village of Eskdale Green and on to Ravenglass on the coast. Near to Ravenglass is Muncaster Castle with its famous gardens and Owl Centre. The Valley also has five excellent pubs with Real Ale and good food.

The Cottage is in a quiet part of the village and is an excellent base for walking, touring or a quiet relaxing rest throughout the year. It has Modern facilities while maintaining its traditional Style.
