Swallows Nest is a recently completed 4 star barn conversion at the end of a private road near to the owners property at Broughton Mills approx 6 miles from Coniston Water.
From Swallows Nest there are wonderful views over the quiet picturesque Lickle Valley and many pleasant walks. Just a 20 minute stroll is the renowned Blacksmiths Arms serving good food and real ale. Three miles away in the historic market town of Broughton-in-Furness with pubs, cafes shops and a restaurant. Nearby attractions include Dalton Wildlife Park, Furness Abbey, the Maritime Museum, Haverthwaite to Lakeside Steam Railway, Windermere Lake Cruises, Coniston, Gondola, Muncaster Castle and the Eskdale miniature railway with local agricultural shows in the late summer and early Autumn.
