This 4 star cottage is situated in a designated area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in the Allendale Valley, Northumberland, voted the most tranquil county in the UK.
The cottage has been rebuilt from a derelict barn with the stone used from the original building to achieve a traditional detached Northumberland cottage to the highest possible standard, located in an elevated position with wonderful unrestricted views from all windows of the Allendale Valley below.
The walks start from your doorstep and with the deer and pheasant to the rare golden plover and black grouse, the area is a haven for the nature lover. A stream leads down to the East Allen River, with its ford and footbridge only a few hundred yards from the cottage. |
