Gallanach is a family run Highland estate owned by the MacDougalls of Gallanach for over 350 years. Now the house offers excellent and comfortable self-catering accommodation within what was the staff quarters. The place is beautifully decorated and furnished with linen provided.
In this dramatic setting on the shores of the Firth of Lorn, nestled below the cliffs of an ice-age volcano and site of one of the largest hill forts in Argyll, Gallanach offers something for everyone with unrivalled views, abundant wildlife and tranquillity.
This is an ideal spot for a relaxing holiday among some of the most spectacular unspoilt scenery in Scotland, while still being close to all the amenities of Oban, the 'Gateway to the Islands'. |
