The Threshing Barn is on the slopes of the Malvern Hills, an area of outstanding natural beauty. It is a magnificent Grade II Listed oak timber framed building. Its renovation was completed in 2000 to the highest architectural and environmental conservation standards. This beautiful barn retains the unique spaciousness and tranquillity of the original timber building.
The grand hall dinning/sitting room has furniture made from the old barn timbers and hand made felt rugs on the under floor heated flagstones.
There is a south facing, wide glazed walkway running the whole length of the barn with 3 double doors leading out onto the secluded, private stone walled patio garden. From here there are views of the Malvern Hills and the sounds of the adjacent stream.
Worcester, Hereford and Gloucester are approximately half an hour away by car, making the barn an ideal base for many festivals, the Three Counties Show Ground, excellent rail links to Birmingham and London and many lovely gardens to explore and enjoy in this unspoilt corner of England. |
