Set on the dramatic coastline of Start Bay just half a mile from the beach this newly renovated property and its safely enclosed garden make a superb base for family holidays. With the village shop and pub less than half a mile away West Prideaux provides a wonderful spot for a relaxing break. Glorious beaches at Blackpool Sands Slapton Sands and East Portlemouth (pictured) lie within easy reach as does Slapton Ley's freshwater lake a paradise for bird watchers and nature ramblers. And close by the delightful bustling towns of Kingsbridge Salcombe Dartmouth Brixham and Totnes all offer quaint streets interesting shopping excellent inns and restaurants and a variety of boat trips and water activities. Train enthusiasts are sure to enjoy journeys on the South Devon Railway and Dartington Hall is also among the nearby attractions whilst a little further afield the rugged grandeur and picturesque villages of Dartmoor National Park invite exploration. Golf horse riding and coarse and sea fishing are all available locally.
