The Haybarton restored from its original use as a hay-store, conserves the best of its traditional features while providing modern facilities. Its three generous en suite double bedrooms (one twin-bedded) sleep six in comfort. The spacious, well-appointed farmhouse kitchen can seat twelve at its solid refectory table if both cottages are booked by one family. It has a lofty, beamed and comfortable sitting room with large television and Sky programmes. Separate utility room. The cottage has unspoilt far reaching views from every window and five acres to explore, half an acre of which is a trout pond where our guests can fish free of charge. There is a brick built barbecue and a variety of picnic tables. The Domesday village of Up-Ottery is a 6 minute walk away and there is a great family pub, brand new tennis courts and a welcoming Church. The hosts pay an annual subscription to the tennis courts so no charge for our guests. Swings and volleyball area. Children can put the ducks away and collect the eggs in the morning.
