North Wheddon Farm is an ideal base to access the Exmoor and Devon area with fantastic coastline, moorland and woodland just minutes way. The scenery from North Wheddon and the surrounding area is simply stunning. The farm has a natural harmony with a gentle rhythm of bygone times with eggs to collect, animals to pat, there's always something to see, with plenty of space and time to enjoy.
The Farthingwood Barn has a cobbled patio area in front with benches and picnic table. At the rear of the property there is a garden which has gate access to the lower paddock, where you will find our friendly farm animals, duck pond, free range chickens and a truly fantastic view. Parking is to the side of the property.
The Barn is very spacious easily able to accommodate six guests. We set out to furnish the barn in a rustic country style whilst paying attention to what we believe will make your holiday relaxing and memorable. Inside, on the ground floor, you will find a large kitchen/dining room, living room, shower and toilet and a bedroom which can be made up as either a twin or super king.
Upstairs at either end of the L- shaped barn we have two large bedrooms. One is the master double bedroom which has an ensuite toilet and bathroom. The other large bedroom can either be a super king size or a twin. See our Virtual Tour for a walk around and to see some helpful floor plans
