Mallards and their offspring can be seen waddling around the footpaths and settling in villagers’ gardens – a lovely sight! Within a short stroll there are two local inns serving excellent food, a post office and a general store serving most needs.
The cottage is within yards of open countryside and ideally placed to visit the surrounding Cotswold villages of Broadway (just over a mile), Chipping Camden, Stow on the Wold, and Stratford upon Avon (with Royal Shakespeare Company) is approximately 10 miles away. Artists, ramblers and cyclists will find plenty to see.
