We have three properties available on a working croft, delightfully situated in a peaceful rural area five minutes from the beach. We are one mile from the village of Benderloch with its small church, well-stocked general store, post office, garage and coffee shop. There is also a small licensed restaurant on the premises.
There are many paces to visit close to Hawthorn: Dunstaffnage Castle, The Falls of Lora, the historic Bonawe Iron Furnace, Cruachan Power Station (the Hollow Mountain), Oban Distillery and many public gardens. Eight miles south of Hawthorn is the town of Oban, the "Gateway" to the islands. The Isle of Mull is only 45 minutes by ferry from Oban so, on a day trip, you can explore the island, visit the abbey at Iona or take a trip out to Staffa and Fingal's Cave.
