Local leisure activities include walking, cycling, birdwatching, golf, fishing, pony trekking and quad-biking. A sailing and windsurfing school is based in Tighnabruaich (9 miles). The local pub and restaurant is a delightful 20 min walk down a country lane and there is a seasonal shop 1 mile away.
During the salmon-fishing season a small stretch of river is available for one rod.
